Cadillac wants $75,995 for 2 door Chevy Volt. NPOCP?

Depends on what's inside, but I can see it. There'll be rebates and bonuses out the wazoo, so the out-the-door price will be much lower, I'd bet.
Plus, it's sexy as hell, and Caddy can make a nice interior.

It looks like an Altima Coupe with some sort of cheese grater attached to the front.

I'll take a Model S. Cool car though.

c-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-CRACK PIPE.
Proper price point- 50k, the volt is like 35k so 50k is the proper price point

Ditto. 4 doors and faster. Plus actual customer service.

As Nancy Reagan would say Cadillac, Just say no . $76k for a chromed up Volt? Seriously? Put down the pipe Caddy . I really enjoy what you're doing with most of the rest of your lineup, but this reeks of failure.

Way crack pipe. That's a lot of dough. If GM wants to beat Tesla they really need to step up the game.

Yes.

I would really love to know how they came up with that price point. When the Volt is $42,000 minus a $5000 cash credit (In Canada) and the Tesla is right around $75,000. It just seems like they have completely priced themselves out of the market.
The car looks cool, and if it tanks in sales, you might be able to pick up a used one cheap enough. That MSRP though... CP.

Don't misunderstand, I like the concept drawing. Hell, I like the concept. But there's nothing on God's green earth that will make me pony up the equivalent of TWO Chevy Volt's, for a Cadillac Volt, errr, Cadillac ELR .

It is gorgeous as new cars go. (since regs don't allow pointed front ends anymore)
But at that price, it is too rich for my blood, even if I wanted an alternative-powertrain vehicle.

50k for a 2.0T powered and I'd sign the lease today. Right now. Money where mouth is.

I wish it was 60k, but ..... I'm still not mad. Get that money caddy.

WOAH THERE CADDY. NO. I DON'T THINK SO.

At $60,995, this Delta 2 rebodied Cadillac version of the Volt makes sense. At $75,995, it needs to be Tesla Model S special.
I'm skeptical, but I won't vote until the first official production car road tests are published.

So it's a couple grand more than a loaded CTS-V coupe.
I think I'll wait for the Elmiraj :)
